Am I the one, who, when doom scrolling on social media always finds the flavorful and delicious delicacies to infiltrate my soul?
The way many create those videos makes them appear as if they’re coming through a phone screen like a 4D movie. These moments make my creative juices start flowing.
TikTok has become a place that magnifies any and everything, and although I try not to indulge in the gluttony of excess food, it is kind of hard to resist.
The little people in my house have a wide variety of tastes from living in a different parts of the world and they often remind me of wanting to exploring those tastes.
What Are Viral TikTok Recipes?
What makes a video viral is the eye-catching way the video is captured, received and shared. It almost makes you want to join in the fun and start cooking also.
With these recipes, they do not have to be strictly followed. Making them your own is the most fun part of it. If you don’t consume pork, Wala, it’s gone.
For me, the whole point of TikTok trends is more for inspiration, which I can admit I always need and to find cool stuff for the kids and me to indulge in. Like the young foodies they are, my boys do enjoy helping me in the kitchen, well sometimes.
Top 10 Viral TikTok Recipes of 2025 for Families
2025 brought a whole new wave of TikTok-inspired recipes that made cooking fun and accessible for families. From a dad’s point of view, I appreciate easy and quick delicious meals of different varieties.
Sometimes bringing back some classics (oldies but goodies) and putting a twist is the best way to introduce some meals we had as children.
Here’s a breakdown of the top viral recipes that dominated kitchens this year so far.
1. Tornado Potatoes
Tornado potatoes are exactly what they sound like—spiraled potatoes cooked crispy. This recipe is a bit of both, a snack and art. These thinly sliced potatoes are skewered, twisted, and most importantly seasoned to taste before placing in the oven or air fryer.
The beauty of these, you can have them spicy, cheesy or regular.
